bulletLeslie Wright(2) was born Date not known in Charlton or Woolwich, London. He died Not known. Note from Brian .
I know that Leslie survived** the 1939 - 1945 war as I can remember putting out the flags in Wyndcliff Road, Charlton and a poster saying welcome home. Aunt Ede had at this time had remarried to "Wrighty" as he was known to my family. I think his first name was Charlie. A nice man who smoked a pipe. The smell of his tobacco comes to me now, as I write this note.
It's strange - I can remember all Ede's family (Freddie Thompson, Cyril Thompson, Reginald Thompson) but I cannot remember the three children of Charles: Leslie, John, Ernest. I think that there may have been one other son who died but I am not sure.
**My cousin Jennifer is of the impression that Leslie did in fact die during the war. This is based on a family ghost story told to her by her mother (Constance Howard, nee Harrison) about the face of Leslie "appearing" at the bedroom window in a family photograph taken in the garden of the family home in Wyndcliff Road, Charlton, soon after his death  prior to the war ending. I personally have never heard the story.   Who knows, until I can check the records it's anyone's guess.  .

Parents were Charles Wright, I have no information on his mother.
